Carob Baked Oats
Suitable for those following a moderate food chemical elimination diet! This breakfast can be prepped in advance and made in a larger batch - just transfer to jars and keep refrigerated. While cocoa is high in food chemicals, carob is a suitable alternative.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp carob
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- In a blender, add the oats, banana, milk, maple syrup, baking powder, salt, and carob. Blend.
- Transfer evenly to 2 oven-safe ramekins then bake for 25 min.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
